Reserving a Future Kitten

Joining our wait list offers several advantages for families interested in reserving a future Savannah kitten from Savannahs of Sacramento.

To reserve a future kitten, we accept a Pre-Birth Deposit, which allows you to secure priority placement for an upcoming litter and your preferred kitten selection.

Pre-Birth Deposit Information

  • Pre-Birth reservations may be placed up to 12 months in advance

  • A $500 non-refundable but transferable deposit is required

  • The deposit secures your place on the wait list for your preferred kitten

  • We only accept a limited number of Pre-Birth deposits per litter

Payment Methods

Pre-Birth deposits may be submitted through:

  • Zelle

  • Apple Pay

  • Venmo

Once your deposit has been received, please email the following information to

  • Full Name

  • Address

  • Phone Number

  • Email Address

This information will be used to complete your Pre-Birth Deposit Agreement, which includes your kitten preference (gender-specific or open preference) along with a paid invoice showing your deposit credited toward the final purchase price.

Choosing Your Kitten

Once kittens are born, all wait list families will receive an email announcement along with photos of the litter. Buyers will have up to 14 days (2 weeks) to choose and reserve their kitten.

After selecting a kitten, an additional deposit equal to 50% of the kitten’s purchase price will be required to officially reserve that kitten.

If you decide not to reserve from the current litter, your Pre-Birth deposit may be transferred to another future kitten or litter for up to 12 months, provided the transfer request is made within the initial 14-day selection period.

Pricing & Deposit Policy

Quoted kitten prices may change as kittens mature and their coat quality, markings, and overall development become more apparent.

A quoted price is not guaranteed with only a Pre-Birth deposit. Pricing is officially locked in only after the 50% reservation deposit has been paid for a specific kitten.

  • If the 50% reservation deposit is paid after birth, the current quoted price becomes locked and cannot change

  • If the 50% reservation deposit is paid before birth, the quoted price is secured in advance and will remain unchanged after the kitten is born

Until the 50% reservation deposit is received, all kitten pricing remains subject to change.
